Just Like Home

The amenities have been compiled from our years of being vacation rental guests ourselves. Our amenities list is created out of common sense and the conveniences we liked in our own adventures.



Those we didn't like, we chose to improve.

We want your experience to be memorable at Shasta Ranch Lodge.

Upon your arrival the Lodge will be clean.

This is something taken for granted but not always the case in all rentals.

Our staff does take pride in their work.

The Lodge is decorated with a country western theme. We have authentic western relics along with wood carvings created by a local artisan. All to add a little atmosphere to your stay.

At the top of our list are beds, we think these are the most important. We had our guests in mind when we purchased our king and four queen euro-top beds.
These are high quality beds with 400 + count sheets for summer and flannel sheets for the winter.

No singles, doubles, bunks, futons, or hide-a-beds here.

Our thoughts are you should feel well rested each night for your next days activities. Linens, blankets, quilts, pillows, and towels, there is more than enough, even for our largest groups.

This isn't Camping

Time and time again we have rented gorgeous homes, with poorly stocked kitchens. Our kitchens, the Lodge has two, are fully equipped.

For evenings and those rainy days the Lodge has a few fun amenities for everyone. Even our smallest guests benefit. For them we have provided books, toys, and stuffed animals.

The main source of heat is a electric heat pump with air conditioning.

For that "extra cozy touch" the living room fireplace will fill the bill.

The fireplace is fueled with propane. This makes for an easy, quick, and clean fire. Just a flip of the switch, and off you go.

Should you loose power this will still operate.

There is also a wood burning stove on the lower level. This will more than take care of the 2nd bedroom suite.

We do have air conditioning , though it isn't used often, but when it is, you are sure glad to have it.
